Currently to me Literacy in math means being to visualize images, interpret them, create them but also give meaning verbally. So often we see the math being done, we do the math.How do or should we talk about math other than symbols?

ReplyDeleteMy working definition of History Literacy requires one to investigate the past, use those clues and clarify so as to understand the present.
ReplyDeleteBeing mathematically literate means being able to take your knowledge and build on it, adding new topics.
